Position Overview
We’re looking for a professional sales estimator with a proven ability to close deals. The ideal candidate is confident, relationship-oriented, and skilled in presenting creative solutions that enhance project scope and value. The ideal candidate must have experience pricing both softscape and hardscape projects, writing detailed proposals, and presenting creative design solutions that enhance value. You’ll work directly with clients to understand their goals, develop accurate project estimates, and help them envision customized outdoor spaces that exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct residential and commercial client consultations to understand project goals and site conditions.
- Develop detailed, accurate proposals and pricing for softscape and hardscape projects.
- Present creative design concepts, upsell value-added features, and guide clients toward premium solutions.
- Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate closely with design, production, and project management teams for a seamless client experience.
- Stay current with landscape materials, products, and design innovations.
- Use computer-based tools for estimating, proposals, and company communications.
- Represent the company with confidence and professionalism in every interaction.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and estimating softscapes and hardscapes.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Strong knowledge of materials, plants, and products from industry suppliers (e.g., Belgard, SiteOne).
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and proposals.
- Computer skills (proposal software, estimating tools).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
- Highly motivated, organized, and customer-focused.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Experience with both residential and commercial projects preferred.

Position Summary:
The Landscape Operations Manager will oversee the daily operations of our new lawn maintenance division. This role requires strong leadership, operational management, and an in-depth understanding of lawn care services. You will manage a team of landscape professionals, ensure the quality and efficiency of all services, and drive higher sales through effective customer relationships and business strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Leadership & Development: Hire, supervise, and lead a team of landscape professionals, ensuring that they are well-trained, motivated, and performing at their best.
- Lawn Care Operations: Oversee all operational aspects of the lawn care division, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and meet the highest standards.
- Sales & Business Growth: Drive higher sales volume by identifying opportunities for upselling services and building lasting client relationships. Develop strategies to expand the division’s customer base.
- Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction with our services.
- Plan Interpretation & Scope Development: Review and interpret landscape plans and maps, translating them into actionable steps for your team. Ensure all work is completed in accordance with the established scope of services.
- Project Coordination: Manage scheduling, resource allocation, and project execution to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal disruption.
- Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage budgets for the lawn care division. Monitor expenses and ensure services are delivered within budget, while maintaining profitability.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety standards and industry regulations to ensure the team operates safely and efficiently.
- Reporting & Communication: Provide regular reports on performance, budget status, and client feedback to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in landscaping or lawn care, with at least 2 years in a leadership or operations management role.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Certifications ( Not required but highly desirable)
- Pesticide Applicator License (Commercial or Residential) is preferred.
- Irrigation certification (such as IA certification) is a plus.
- Landscape Industry Certified Manager (CLM) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
- Technical Skills: Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, maps, and site specifications.
- Sales: Work alongside the sales manager to increase sales through customer relationships, service expansion, and upselling.
- Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to manage resources, schedules, and operations efficiently.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with landscape management software

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong sales background in landscaping, bidding, or service-based contract sales who wants to build something from the ground up and earn exceptional income.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and secure new landscape maintenance contracts.
- Call on new-home communities, apartment communities, HOA boards, community managers, and residential developers to generate and develop new commercial accounts.
- Lead the full sales cycleโfrom prospecting and relationship-building to estimating, bidding, and closing contracts.
- Track opportunities, prepare proposals, and present competitive bids.
